WCCC Foundation
”We serve to cultivate sustainable charitable resources, secure philanthropic grants, support capital needs, and provide educational opportunities in order to contribute to the health and vitality of our diverse community of learners.
A History of Support
Since 1983 the WCCC Foundation has set its goals to support the Warren County college community through fundraising, grants, and community support. Because of the efforts of a unique group of community and business leaders who serve as Foundation Directors, thousands of students have been able to complete their studies and go on to successful careers or four-year colleges.
The Foundation relies on several major events a year for its funding efforts. Public participation is key to its success. Some of those major events are the Hall of Fame Recognition Dinner and Hot Air Balloon Festivals.

Chuck Haytaian
Garabed “Chuck” Haytaian, the founder of Warren County Community College, dedicated his career to public service and improving educational opportunities for the Warren community. As a Warren County Freeholder, he led the initiative to establish the college, recognizing the critical need for accessible, high-quality education was essential. His vision and determination transformed this idea into reality, creating a lasting resource for generations of students. To honor his impact, the college’s library was named the Haytaian and Maier Library, reflecting his partnership with co-founder Christopher Maier, and symbolizing their shared commitment to education.
Beyond his educational efforts, Chuck was a passionate community advocate. He served as a trustee of the college, as well as supported numerous public initiatives. Chuck’s true legacy is his love of family and friends, his dedication to public service with his unwavering commitment to support the success of others.
