Disability Services

You may have a learning, physical or psychological disability that requires accommodations, such as use of technology, adapted testing/assignments, interpreters, or help with taking class notes. To request an accommodation, you must submit written documentation to the Office of Student Services several weeks prior to enrollment. This documentation must include:

  • Professional evaluation and diagnosis of your disability (conducted within the past three years)
  • Description of how the disability affects your ability to learn
  • Suggested learning strategies that may assist you in compensating for the disability

This documentation must be completed by a qualified professional (learning consultant, psychologist or a physician). If your disability is temporary, you may be asked to provide updated documentation.

You must also submit a Request for Accommodations form along with your documentation to the Office of Student Services. You will be contacted to schedule an intake appointment to discuss disability services after your documentation has been reviewed.

For more information, call  the Office of Student Services at (908) 835-2300 or you may send an email to [email protected].
