Board of Trustees

Nancy Brown made her home in Warren County in 1972 in Hackettstown. She and her husband, Harry, raised their two daughters, Heather and Beth, there. Mrs. Brown was a leader in many civic organizations and served on Hackettstown Common Council for four consecutive terms. She also graduated from County College of Morris with the highest honors, majoring in Business Administration. After fulfilling her last term on Common Council, she returned to her goal of earning a Bachelor’s Degree graduating from Centenary College in 2010, Magna Cum Laude with an emphasis on Marketing and Business Administration. In 2014, the Browns moved to Belvidere where they currently reside. Mrs. Brown had a varied business career in Property Management in Morristown, Marketing and Development at Hackettstown Community Hospital and managed the Valley National Bank in Hackettstown. Her career path changed to work with two New Jersey legislators, Assemblywoman Connie Myers and Assemblyman John DiMaio. She has a long history of commitment to Warren County Community College, serving in several leadership positions including two terms as Chair of the Warren County Community College Foundation. During her tenure spanning over a decade, she raised valuable funds for college projects and for scholarships for students. Nancy Brown plans to work so that students can earn degrees or certificates at an affordable price, continue to offer new programs, and improve the physical plant of the college. Her aim is to continue good relationships with Warren County Freeholders and state officials while maintaining the Board of Trustee’s policy of fiscal responsibility for the taxpayers of Warren County. Mrs. Brown has been on the Board since April, 2018.

Maria Maier has resided in Warren County for 16 years. She attended and graduated from the University of Economics Bratislava (Slovakia) with an M.B.A. and later was awarded a second M.B.A. degree from Centenary University in Hackettstown. Mrs. Maier is involved in managing the Land of Make Believe, an amusement park located in Hope, NJ. She also serves as a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Centenary University, is one of the WCCC Foundation Directors, and a member of Hope Area Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Maier became a member of the Warren County Community College Board of Trustees in 2016. She believes in supporting her community and dedicates her time to help the Community College to provide quality and affordable education for Warren County residents. Mrs. Maier has been on the Board since March, 2017.

Marybeth Maciag has been a resident of Hackettstown for the past 37 years. She has a BSN from William Paterson University, Woman’s Health Nurse Practitioner – University of Pennsylvania, and an MS Health & Wellness Promotion, Independence University. Ms. Maciag is employed by Planned Parenthood Northern, Central, Southern NJ as a Nurse Practitioner Washington/Newton clinics.
Ms. Maciag is involved in many local organizations and Boards. She has been a member of the Hackettstown Board of Education since 2006, the Hackettstown Board of Health since 2008, and a Trustee for the Hackettstown Foundation for Educational Excellence. She is both a Warren County and Hackettstown Democratic Committee member, in addition to being a Warren County State Democratic Committee person. Ms. Maciag was inducted into the Hackettstown Area Senior Hall of Fame in 2018. Marybeth has two adult children, Rob and Meg Alexander, who she enjoys traveling with. Ms. Maciag looks forward to serving on the Warren County Community College Board of Trustees.

Yvonne Reitemeyer has resided in Lopatcong Township, Warren County for 17 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate Arts degree from Warren County Community College and received her ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation from The American College. She is a financial adviser working with Frailey Insurance and Financial Services in Stroudsburg PA and holds her Life and Health Licenses as well as her Series 7 and 66 Financial licenses. Certified in Long Term Care she assists her clients in planning for their futures. She is a member of MDRT (Million Dollar RoundTable), currently serves on the Phillipsburg High School Soccer Booster Board, NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) Lehigh Valley Board member, and a member of the Warren County Republican Committee (Vice Chair Lopatcong). She is a former councilwoman for Lopatcong Township. She is married to Mark and has two children Veronica and Douglas. She is looking forward to working with her fellow board members to enhance the lives of the students of WCCC and the residents of Warren County. Ms. Reitemeyer has been on the Board since November 2017.

Ms. Betti Singh, formerly Betti McCann, has resided in Warren County for just under fifty years. She grew up in Hackettstown, attended Hackettstown High School, and is a graduate of Centenary College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a concentration in communication. Ms. Singh currently resides in the Washington Borough. She currently works as a career coach at the Warren County One-Stop Career Center in Phillipsburg. She has been a trustee at the College since 2003 and is dedicated to the success of others. She has true empathy for returning students as she was a non-traditional student herself. Ms. Singh has been on the Board since November, 2003.

Mr. Joyce has been a resident of Warren County for the past 21 years. He graduated Cum Laude with an Associate in Applied Science from Warren County Community College. He continued his studies at Centenary University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts in Leadership and Public Administration. He began his military career by joining the Army National Guard, where he received basic and advanced training. In addition, he completed the Primary Leadership Development Course. During this time, he began his career in law enforcement as a state Corrections Officer in New Jersey’s sole sex offender’s prison. He received The Stone/Ratajczak Memorial Award for professional development while attending the Corrections Officer’s Training Academy. He left the Dept. of Corrections to work for his hometown police department, the Scotch Plains NJ Police. He soon advanced from the patrol division to the detective bureau, finally rising to the rank of Detective Sergeant. He worked for the Union County Narcotics Strike Force, was the past vice president of the Union County Investigator’s Association, and was the liaison for the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Retiring after 27 years, he took some time off before starting a second career working campus security at Centenary University and teaching Wellness to new first-year students. He also works for the Essex County Vicinage in Newark, NJ as a Probation Officer. Mr. Joyce serves as Chairman of the Warren County Community College Foundation. He and his wife, Noreen, have a blended family of five children.

Dr. Rosalie S. Lamonte currently serves as the Warren Executive County Superintendent. As such, she is a member by statute of the college’s Board of Trustees. Dr. Lamonte brings to the board over 40 years of experience in the field of education. Prior to her appointment as county superintendent, Dr. Lamonte served as superintendent in the Hackettstown, Montville, and Mount Olive school districts. She holds a B.A. degree from Barnard College, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish and Italian studies from Columbia University, and certifications in teaching and school administration. Dr. Lamonte is particularly interested in building relationships between K-12 districts and the college. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Lamonte has resided in Flanders, NJ since 1974. She enjoys attending concerts and the opera, traveling, particularly to national parks, and spending time with her four grandchildren. Dr. Lamonte has served on the Board since March, 2019.

Therese Steinhardt has been a resident of Warren County since moving to Belvidere in August of 1968 with her husband Judge Joseph Steinhardt, (retd). She graduated from Northampton Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing, a BS in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University, and a master’s degree in Nurse Education from Gwynedd Mercy University in Gwynedd Valley Pa. Additionally, she holds Certificates in Suicide Prevention & Counseling from Lehigh University and a Post-master Certificate in Bioethics & Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. Her professional nursing roles include a variety of experiences from school nurse to forensic investigator, hospital clinical nurse to psychiatric clinical nurse, and eventually to college nurse educator. Currently, she and her husband reside in White Township on the farm where their children, Douglas and Susan, grew up. Terry served with the founding Board of Trustees before leaving to return to the classroom in 1993 in both the non-credit and credit divisions and eventually as the Director of Nurse Education for the new Associate Degree Program at WCCC in 2005. She was inducted into the Warren County Hall of Fame with the Class of 2013. She looks forward to returning to the Board and participating in successfully fulfilling the challenges of the Strategic Plan.

I am 21 years old. For the past 10 years I have spent my time in the town of Mansfield, NJ. I attended high school right next door at Warren Tech. My shop focus was cosmetology. During my junior and senior years I worked full time as a hair apprentice while attending school. During my senior year I started college prerequisites at WCCC. In 2022 I successfully completed the cosmetology program and scored top of my class on state boards. Immediately following my high school career I continued taking prerequisites at WCCC in hopes of getting into the nursing program. I held three part time jobs while
attending classes full time. On the side I worked as a hairdresser in a
salon and at a nursing home. While tutoring anatomy and physiology I
and II in ISC. Fortunately I was accepted into the nursing program in
2023 and continued my academic journey at WCCC, graduating in 2025. I told myself, the harder you work, the luckier you get. We are all in control of our success.
