VENIPUNCTURE SKILLS

FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

This 16-hour program is designed to introduce healthcare professionals to phlebotomy skills. The program allows nurses, CMA’s, patient care technicians and other healthcare professionals to acquire the additional skills needed for employment that requires veni-/dermal punctures. Both the theory and technique of venipuncture and dermal punctures will be covered allowing time for simulated lab. Requirements: Must be a health care professional requiring venipuncture skills for employment. Medical lab assistants, LPN’s, RN’s, CMA’s, CNA’s, EMT’s, Dialysis technicians and student/graduate nurses welcome.
