Biographical Profile

Professor George began teaching at WCCC as an adjunct instructor in 2011 and became a full-time instructor in 2013. As a graduate student at the University of Notre Dame, she did extensive research on the de-industrialization of the Midwest and its effect on labor markets. She collaborated with University of Notre Dame Faculty to produce a documentary, “Climbing the Down Escalator,” which was base largely on her research. Professor George teaches developmental mathematics courses, Business Math, and Economics. She is passionate about teaching math in a fun and approachable way.
