2. Complete the College Placement Test or submit documentation for exemption
All new students must take the College Placement Test so that they are placed in the appropriate mathematics and English courses to ensure student success. Students may be exempt from testing if they hold a bachelor’s degree, earned SAT scores of 480 or higher in verbal and/or 500 or higher in math (5 years old or less for verbal and 3 years old or less for math), or hold transfer credits in English and/or mathematics.
You must submit your college transcripts or SAT scores for exemption.
3. Meet with an advisor
Visit the Office of Student Services to meet with an advisor and register for classes. No appointment is necessary. You can view our course schedule ahead of time to get an idea of which courses you would like to take.
The Office of Student Services is open at the following times:
Mondays, Tuesdays 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Wednesdays, Thursdays 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Fridays 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
Summer hours are 8:30-7:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
