The Warren County Community College Associate in Applied Science in Emergency Services degree is designed to provide college-level education and training to firefighters, emergency medical service (EMS) providers (i.e., First Responders, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics) as well as other emergency responders who serve as this country's first line of defense in emergency and crisis situations.
Students who enroll in the Fire Service option must present proof of successful completion of a New Jersey Firefighter-I training program. Students who do not have Firefighter-I certification may substitute FST 101 for this requirement. Fire Academy graduates may have already earned credits toward your degree at WCCC. Speak with an advisor in Student Services for more information.
