Medical Assisting

Associate in Applied Science

This Medical Assisting Certificate Program prepares students for positions as medical assistants in physician’s office and other outpatient, ambulatory care facilities. The A.A.S. in Medical Assisting is a terminal degree; however, general education courses may be transferred to a 4-year institution.

Students may choose to continue in the field of Nursing, Health and Hospital Administration, or a variety of other allied health care programs.
