Placement Testing

The Placement Test is administered in the Instructional Support Center (ISC), located in room 105 inside the WCCC Library. Testing is on a walk-in basis (space permitting - appointments are recommended) throughout the year. The test is taken on a computer; there will be a proctor available to assist you.

Summer Testing Hours
Monday - Thursday........8am - 6pm

Allow at least 3 hours for the entire test; it will take many people longer. Taking the English and Math sections on separate days is a wise option, due to the length of time and intensity of concentration involved.

Please note: after taking the test, you will take your results to an advisor in Student Services. Therefore, if you test during evening hours or on Saturdays, you may have to come back at another time to see an advisor. For extended Student Services hours, check the WCCC website or the current semester catalogue for days and times of late registration.

Please read the Placement Test Booklet, as it should answer all of your questions about the test.
