Disability Services
You may have a learning, physical or psychological disability that requires special accommodations, such as use of technology, adapted testing/assignments, interpreters, or help with taking class notes.
To request an accommodation, you must submit written documentation to the Office of Student Services several weeks prior to enrollment. This documentation must include:
- Professional evaluation and diagnosis of your disability (conducted within the past three years)
- Description of how the disability affects your ability to learn
- Suggested learning strategies that may assist you in compensating for the disability
This documentation must be completed by a qualified professional (learning consultant, psychologist or a physician). If your disability is temporary, you may be asked to provide updated documentation.
For more information, call Shannon Horwath, the Disability Services Coordinator, in the Office of Student Services at (908) 835-2300.
