CONTINUING EDUCATION PART-TIME OPENINGS

Teach with our Continuing Education Department.  Share your ideas and expertise and build community by teaching with WCCC! Contact us with your ideas at 908-689-7613. Courses should have a professional development or personal enrichment focus.

The following part-time positions currently are available:

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor –  Seeking Certified Instructor for AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).  Interested candidates, please contact Dianne Czar at czar@warren.edu.

CNA Instructor - qualified candidate must meet all requirements of the NJ Dept. of Health and Human Services to follow:

  • Current NJ RN license
  • 3 years full-time experience in a licensed health care facility
  • At least 1 year full-time as an RN in a LTC facility within the last 5 years immediately preceding application to the DOH.

ESL Instructors – Experience teaching ESL, English, or in another closely related field. Proficiency in a second language preferred. Experience working with a diverse group of learners including a wide range of ESL levels and skills.  Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, preferred.  Interested candidates, please contact Dawn Smith at 908-835-4029 or dsmith3@warren.edu.

Foreign Language Instructors – part time instructors to teach popular language classes. The schedule and hours can vary depending on the class and instructor availability.  Education degree and foreign language teaching certificate,  college degree preferably in foreign language or previous experience teaching foreign language to non-traditional adult students. Job Readiness Instructor – We are looking for a passionate and mission-driven individual to prepare program participants for competitive employment in the community. Contribute to job development activities including, but not limited to, resume writing and interview skills. Support and mentor trainees utilizing a positive and encouraging approach. A mininum of a 2 year degree and 3 years experience in workforce development, preferred. Interested candidates, please contact Eve Azar at 908-835-2432 or azar@warren.edu.

Lean Six Sigma Instructor – needed for corporate training at client site on Lean manufacturing methodologies. Lean 5S, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, standard work, and other Kaizen events focused on waste reduction and meeting customer and employee needs. Microsoft Office Instructors - Instructor for Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and soft skills. Applicants should have classroom instruction and public speaking experience and be comfortable with delivering subject matter efficiently and effectively with up to 20 students. Microsoft Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Trainer Certificate preferred.  Courses are available in Warren and Sussex County locations.
