Dr. Massimo completed her medical degree and residency at Varna University School of Medicine, Bulgaria. She specialized in Chronic and Acute Dialysis at Sheba Medical Center of Tel-Aviv, Israel. While in Europe, Dr. Massimo worked as an Emergency Room physician, in the Nephrology and Hemodialysis department, Regional Hospital — Russe, Bulgaria. Her experience in the U.S. includes medical consulting for Net Alliance, Inc., and extensive work as a Senior Scientist in Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology at the Princeton Research Center, New Jersey. Dr. Massimo developed and implemented an award winning method of biological fluid collection for scientific purposes and her article was published in “Teratology Journal” (1998, Vol. 57). She is currently a member of the Mid-Atlantic Society of Toxicology, International Medical Association, and Israeli Medical Association.
Dr. Massimo had been a member of the adjunct faculty at WCCC for ten years before becoming a full time faculty member in 2013.
